Compact slotted CPW‐fed Y‐shape patch antenna for Wi‐Fi and WiMAX applications

Abstract: A compact slotted Y‐shape patch antenna fed with a coplanar waveguide is described in this manuscript. The proposed antenna configuration comprises a modified rectangular slot printed on a single FR4 substrate which holds a Y‐shape patch antenna, and 2 equal length arms used to widen the impedance bandwidth.
