Compact Systems With Dc3 Pairs

Abstract: By introducing the concept of distributively nonwandering set, we gave a necessary condition for a compact system to have DC3 pairs. As an application of the result, it was proved that any nonprimitive constant-length substitution subshift on two symbols contains no DC3 pairs.
