Abstract:Sillago muktijoddhai, S. mengjialensis, S. sihama and Sillaginops macrolepis (Perciformes, Sillaginidae) are common coastal sand borers. The first three species are found in the Northeastern Indian Ocean, and the fourth one is located in the Western Central Pacific Ocean only.
