Abstract: This paper provides a comparative analysis of bipolar versus unipolar Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) in DC-AC inverters, focusing on Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) across modulation indices and the latter’s effects on the R-L loads.
