Typhoid fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever are common diseases in Indonesia. Typhoid fever is caused by bacteria while dengue hemorrhagic fever is caused by the dengue virus. Both of these diseases are often misdiagnosed because they have the same symptoms as other diseases so that they can cause the high rate of death. Therefore, it takes an expert system as a tool to diagnose typhoid fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever to be handled quickly and precisely. The Expert system built by using the Sugeno Fuzzy Logic method. It expected to be a solution to facilitate the public to diagnose typhoid fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever based on the symptoms and get treatment solutions. This study has produced expert system to diagnose typhoid fever and dengue hemorrhagic Fever. It had been tested 86 cases of data with an accuracy value is 80.2%.

The importance of correct and clear decisions during a complex and difficult situation is very easy to understand, but not so easy to achieve. Especially in situations where decision-makers must decide under time pressure and uncertainty. For instance, typical crisis situations have such characteristics. Given the uncertainty, subjectivity and ambiguity of human knowledge, crisis situations are also characterized by conflicting interests. In this article, we propose an approach based on fuzzy set theory to help decision-makers to find the collective decision considering weights of each member of the decision-making group. More specifically, the proposed approach uses new and innovative transformation of fuzzy numbers through α-level cuts. The key role in the transformation process is played by the shape and position of fuzzy numbers. Additionally, the Hamming distance will be used for the final interpretation of the results, in order to minimize the loss of information caused by defuzzification.

This study aims to display fuzzy logic (FL) technique for diagnosis of fault induction machine. This allows monitoring of fuzzy information from different signals to give more accurate judgment on the health of the engine, through using a multi-winding model of induction machine for the simulation of broken bars. This model allows study the influence of defects and appear the behavior of the machine in the different modes of running conditions (healthy and fault). In this work, we focus the application of a fuzzy logic technique based on the fast Fourier transformation (FFT) by analyzing the stator current for fault detection. The results of the simulation obtained allowed us to show the importance of the fuzzy logic approach based on classification of signals for detecting the faulty.
