Abstract:Background: Compare and assess the objective and subjective visual outcomes of bilateral implantation of two different intraocular lenses (IOLs) for presbyopia correction.
Methods: A prospective comparative case series with cataract surgery and bilateral implantation of Synergy or Panoptix was performed. We assessed the monocular defocus curve using subjective visual-quality questionnaires and compared each group’s near, far, and intermediate visual acuity.
