“…Exopalaemon carinicauda , also known as the ridgetail white prawn, is distributed mainly on the coast of mainland China and the west coast of the Korean Peninsula [ 23 , 24 ]. E. carinicauda has the advantages of a strong reproductive ability, a short growth cycle, and a long breeding season, so it represents an important economic breeding variety in China, the annual production of which exceeds 50,000 tons, and the output value exceeds USD 420 million [ 25 , 26 , 27 , 28 ]. Like most other crustaceans, E. carinicauda has the powerful ability to regenerate severed limbs.…”
