Abstract: e23513 Background: Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GISTs) are the most common mesenchymal tumors of the GI tract, typically presenting as subepithelial neoplasms in the stomach with rarer occurrences in the small bowel, colorectum, & esophagus.
