Comparing left ventricular assist device inflow cannula angle between median sternotomy and thoracotomy using 3D reconstructions

Abstract: Background Left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation via thoracotomy has many potential advantages compared to conventional sternotomy, including improved inflow cannula (IFC) positioning.
