Abstract:Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) is an imaging technique that attempts to reconstruct the conductivity distribution inside an object from electrical currents and potentials applied and measured at its surface. The EIT reconstruction problem is approached as an optimization problem. This optimization problem can be solved using Simulated Annealing (SA), but at a high computational cost. To reduce the computational load, it is possible to use an incomplete evaluation of the objective function. Two objective… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
