Abstract:This article presents a comparison between global and sequential methods to solve inverse problem related to the baking process. Both methods aim to reconstruct the wall temperature profile in the baking oven from the temperature of flux sensor (h-Monitor). The global method solves the adjoint and sensitivity equations to compute the gradient conjugate descent direction. This method contains regularization term that modifies the computation of the gradient. The sequential method computes at each time step a qu… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
