Abstract:Nephrotic syndrome (NS) is the most common glomerulopathy in childhood. The incidence of NS in the United States and United Kingdom is 2-7 new cases per 100,000 children per year, with a prevalence ranging from 16 cases per 100,000 children, and is found to be higher in developing countries.
