Abstract: Background: Pre-eclampsia is a multi-system disorder of unknown etiology involving almost every organ of body including kidney, liver, brain, heart, stomach and adrenals. In liver periportal hemorrhagic necrosis, ischemic lesions and fibrin deposition occurs due to thrombosis of arterioles.
