While introducing new technology has completely transformed the textile production process, the rapid pace of massive industrialization has increased the volume of wastewater, which is highly hazardous. Even though the textile industry is essential to our economy, the textile industry is harmful to the environment because of the production of wastewater, solid wastes, air pollutants, noise, etc. Recycling textile wastewater is crucial, and oxidation, physical, biological, and physicochemical methods can be used to treat textile wastewater. Based on statistics and visualization tools, bibliometric analysis has evolved to demonstrate a given topic’s knowledge structures and developmental tendencies. Here we provide a bibliometric analysis focused on textile wastewater treatment from 1990 to 2022. Raw data was retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) database and mapped using VOSviewer and biblioshiny. Textile, wastewater, and treatment were keywords. We retrieved 8,170 documents, 1,138 sources published these documents, a 22.7% annual increase, where 21458 authors published these documents with an average citation rate of 33.2%, and there were 6,680 research articles and 462 review articles. DESALINATION AND WATER TREATMENT stayed on top with 422 publications. We discovered that DONGHUA UNIVERSITY ranks first with 330 publications. Though China took first place with a total of 43961 citations, followed by India with a total of 33953 citations, from a total of 120 countries participating in this research, the research work of CRINI G and coworkers was most cited globally. The most common term was wastewater, which occurred 3,144 times, followed by textile, which appeared 2,669 times. We expect this research to be a significant resource for scholars by comprehensively describing the current state and future directions of textile wastewater treatment.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the current research status, hot topics, and future prospects in the field of graphene and its derivatives toxicity. In the article, the Web of Science Core Collection database was used as the data source, and the Cite-Space and VOSviewer were used to conduct a visual analysis of the last 10 years of research on graphene and its derivatives toxicity. A total of 8573 articles were included, and we analyzed the literature characteristics of the research results in the field of graphene and its derivatives toxicity, as well as the distribution of authors and co-cited authors; the distribution of countries and institutions; the situation of co-cited references; and the distribution of journals and categories. The most prolific countries, institutions, journals, and authors are China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, RSC Advances, and Wang, Dayong, respectively. The co-cited author with the most citations was Akhavan, Omid. The five research hotspot keywords in the field of graphene and its derivatives toxicity were "nanomaterials," "exposure," "biocompatibility," "adsorption," and "detection." Frontier topics were "facile synthesis," "antibacterial activity," and "carbon dots." Our study provides perspectives for the study of graphene and its derivatives toxicity and yields valuable information and suggestions for the development of graphene and its derivatives toxicity research in the future.

What Research Has Been Conducted on Procrastination? Evidence From a Systematical Bibliometric Analysis

Procrastination is generally perceived as a common behavioral tendency, and there are a growing number of literatures to discuss this complex phenomenon. To elucidate the overall perspective and keep abreast of emerging trends in procrastination research, this article presents a bibliometric analysis that investigates the panorama of overviews and intellectual structures of related research on procrastination. Using the Web of Science Database, we collected 1,635 articles published between 1990 and 2020 with a topic search on “procrastination” and created diverse research maps using CiteSpace and VOS viewer. Bibliometric analysis in our research consists of category distribution, keyword co-occurrence networks, main cluster analysis, betweenness centrality analysis, burst detection analysis, and structure variation analysis. We find that most research has focused on students' samples and has discussed the definition, classification, antecedents, consequences and interventions to procrastination, whereas procrastination in diverse contexts and groups remains to be investigated. Regarding the antecedents and consequences, research has mainly been about the relationship between procrastination and personality differences, such as the five-factor model, temperament, character, emotional intelligence, and impulsivity, but functions of external factors such as task characteristics and environmental conditions to procrastination have drawn scant attention. To identify the nature and characteristics of this behavior, randomized controlled trials are usually adopted in designing empirical research. However, the predominant use of self-reported data collection and for a certain point in time rather than longitudinal designs has limited the validation of some conclusions. Notably, there have been novel findings through burst detection analysis and structure variation analysis. Certain research themes have gained extraordinary attention in a short time period, have evolved progressively during the time span from 1990 to 2020, and involve the antecedents of procrastination in a temporal context, theoretical perspectives, research methods, and typical images of procrastinators. And emerging research themes that have been investigated include bedtime procrastination, failure of social media self-control, and clinical interventions. To our knowledge, this is almost the first time to conduct systematically bibliometric analysis on the topic of procrastination and findings can provide an in-depth view of the patterns and trends in procrastination research.
