Abstract:Augmented reality head-mounted displays (AR-HMDs) utilizing diffractive waveguides have emerged as a popular research focus. However, the illuminance uniformity over the fields of view (FOV) is often unsatisfactory in volume holographic grating (VHG) based waveguide displays.
