Abstract:Magneto-transport characteristics of 2D and 3D superconducting layers, in particular, temperature and angular dependences of the upper critical field Hc2, are usually considered to be fundamentally different. In the work, we have verified this statement by probing effective dimensions of nm-thick NbN films using non-local resistance measurements at temperatures near the normal-to-superconducting transition. It was found that in relatively thick NbN layers, the thicknesses of which varied from 50 to 100 nanomet… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
