Complete detoxification reaction by NO reduction with CO over nano‐sized copper‐substituted Cr2O3

Abstract: Simultaneous detoxification of nitric oxide and carbon monoxide was investigated over fibrous pristine and copper-substituted Cr 2 O 3 catalysts. Catalysts were synthesized using glycine combustion method. The prepared catalysts were characterized using X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, diffuse reflectance spectra, SEM-energy-dispersive X-ray, transmission electron microscopy, XPS, H 2 -temperature programmed reduction, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area measurement.
