“…The PD signal processing ends with the characteristics display: the amplitude and number of pulses in each phase interval and the distribution of the number of pulses by amplitude. The results of data processing were presented in the following articles [45][46][47].…”

“…The obtained phase distribution of pulse parameters is compared with the previously recorded distribution of pulse signal parameters for an identical (defect-free) VI [46]. Since the propagation velocities of electromagnetic and acoustic pulses differ by several orders of magnitude, a phase synchronization unit is used to synchronize them with each specific phase interval (considering the distance between the defect and the sensors).…”

“…It is well established by experimental studies and confirmed by simulations [2][3][4][5][6][7][8], that the highest electric field value around an insulating string is found on the last pin in contact with the high voltage conductor, more exactly at the triple junction (pin-cement, cement-porcelain), which also corresponds to the highest thermal point [9], therefore, these areas are very critical in high voltage lines. The presence of high electric field leads to corona discharges by ionizing the surrounding air of the insulator, resulting in energy losses, electromagnetic interferences, visible light, audible noise, and the destruction of materials by erosion [10][11][12]. When the electric field stress exceeds a threshold value, especially in the presence of pollution conditions [13], flashover of the insulator string may occur.…”

“…При заданих діелектричних характеристиках ємність циліндричного конденсатора залежить від товщини ізоляційного прошарку та від довжини електродів: чим тонша ізоляція та чим довші електроди, тим більша ємність [28][29][30][31]. Вочевидь, величина ємності проміжку струмопровід-обкладка (C 0,2 ) зростає безперервно зі збільшенням довжини провідної обкладки, в той же час найбільша ємність С 2,3 проміжку обкладка-фланець практично обмежується осьовою довжиною фланця.…”
