Abstract:Laser-induced bulk impurity damage has always been a difficult issue in optical systems, affecting the signal-to-noise ratio, beam quality, and other vital laser parameters. In this study, the generation mechanism of bulk damage morphology is demonstrated through a combination of experiment and theory. The growth mechanism is then represented through parameter control. Finally, a general conclusion of bulk damage generation is obtained alongside a reasonable control range of dangerous parameters. The damage ar… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
