Compression filming with high-density barium suspensions

Abstract: A method is described for use of high-density barium suspension (250% wt/vol) during compression filming performed in conjunction with the double-contrast examination of the stomach. The technique employs control of the distribution of barium within the stomach by table tilting and use of the vertebral column to stabilize the posterior wall of the stomach.
