Abstract:Modulated backscatter technology is becoming increasingly important for the realization of passive wirelss RF links. We describe a compact and low-cost antenna/detector module which forms the key component of a passive transceiver. Specifically, we report on the computer-aided design of the module and measurements performed on a 6 GHz link. Preliminary results show good agreement between theory and experimentL
