Computer-assisted cup positioning in total hip arthroplasty: usefulness, limits and future

Abstract: The basic hypothesis for computer-assisted placement of the cup in total hip arthroplasty (THA) is that navigation will improve cup positioning around the targeted values previously defined in the literature as the gold standard for cup placement and reduce the number of outliers.
