“…10 The variable range hopping model 11,12 assumes ϭ 0 exp͓(ϪT 0 /T) 1/(dϩ1) ͔ and is commonly adopted to relate the temperature dependence of the conductivity to the dimensionality d of the charge transport in organic samples. 13,14 As shown in Fig. 3, where we plot the logarithm of the longitudinal conductivity as a function of the inverse temperature, below 50 K the exponential dependence deviates from 1 2 , confirming that at these temperatures alternative conducting pathways remain competitive and the overall charge transport is a more complicated process.…”

“…Neste caso os filmes possuem uma maior quantidade de material adsorvido e, depois de dopados, podem apresentar condutividade elétrica em torno de 4,0 S/cm, valor bastante alto se comparado com filmes de PAni obtidos por outras metodologias. Investigando as propriedades elétricas de filmes ultrafinos de PAni, Paloheimo e colaboradores 40,41 verificaram que a condutividade destes filmes aumenta com o número de camadas até atingir um patamar de saturação.…”

“…The results will be compared to those of vacuum-evaporated and layer-by-layer self-assembled films [3,6] of TAB and PANI. A technique for obtaining PANI LB films directly in the conducting form by using a combination of HCI [7] and a neutral salt, KCI [8], in the subphase is also reported here [9].…”

“…Recent studies on the temperature dependence of the conductivity of doped thin films of poly-and oligoanilines suggest that the long-range Coulomb interactions between electrons open a so-called Coulomb quasi-gap at the Fermi level [3,4]. Furthermore, the field effect of protonation-doped poly-and oligoaniline thin films is n-type contrary to other undoped or p-type doped conducting polymers [3,5]. The n-type field effect as well as the strong electron-hole asymmetry in aniline derivatives make them exceptional among conducting polymers and, possibly, useful in devices.…”
