Configurable Cellular Automata for Pseudorandom Number Generation

Abstract: This paper proposes a generalized structure of cellular automata (CA) -the configurable cellular automata (CoCA). With selected properties from programmable CA (PCA) and controllable CA (CCA), a new approach to cellular automata is developed.
