“…On postnatal handling, Yang et al reported a series of cases in 2012 in which they analyzed a cohort of 15 patients with complete AV block, finding that 87% of infants requiring implantation of a pacemaker as definitive management. 16 The timing of pacemaker implantation depends on whether the patient is symptomatic, since the ventricular rate of complete AV block is usually not sufficient to maintain cardiac output neonate. 22 A lower heart rate 55 bpm to an absolute indication for use of such attachments.…”
