Congenital Subaortic Stenosis Caused by Fibroma of Left Ventricle

Abstract: The clinical, laboratory and pathological findings in a 4-year-old child with a myocardial fibroma are correlated. The normal growth and development, excellent exercise tolerance, basal systolic murmur and thrill, moderate A2 with marked cardiac enlargement, and left ventricular strain by electrocardiogram were typical of subaortic stenosis and this was the clinical diagnosis. The tumor so invaded the wall of the left ventricle that an atomical subaortic stenosis was produced.
