Connecting microscopic and mesoscopic mechanics in model structural glasses

Abstract: We present a novel formalism to characterize elastic heterogeneities in amorphous solids. In particular, we derive high-order strain-energy expansions for pairwise energies under athermal quasistatic dynamics.
