Abstract

Ensuring accessibility on the websites and e-government portals isa duty that public and private entities need to fulfill to enable pluralityin access to content available on the internet. Due to simpleinterfaces, many people have started to use Content ManagementSystems (CMS) to create their blogs or online store. These systemsbegan to be widely used for allowing people without programmingknowledge to create and make their websites available on the internet.Therefore, it becomes essential to assess whether these toolsprovide resources that help the development of accessible websites.Thus, this paper aims to analyze websites developed through a CMSto collect and identify problems related to the criteria that guaranteevirtual accessibility (Accessibility Guidelines for Web Content -WCAG and Model Accessibility in Electronic Government - eMAG)of accessibility for blind or low vision persons.
