Abstract:In these proceedings, we discuss the recent approach of Ref. [1] for the construction of compact Ansätze for scattering amplitudes. The method builds powerful constraints on the analytic structure of the rational functions in amplitudes from numerical tests of their behavior close to singularity surfaces. We discuss how we systematically understand these surfaces and how the singular behavior of the rational function can be incorporated into an Ansatz using techniques from algebraic geometry. To perform the nu… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
