Contact Lens Removal

Abstract: A case of adherent soft contact lenses in an apprehensive adolescent patient is described, along with a description of a novel technique for contact lens removal. After topical anesthesia and saline irrigation, the lenses were successfully removed, atraumatically, using a pair of saline-soaked cotton-tipped applicators held in a chopstick fashion.
