Infographics are visual representations of data that utilize various graphic elements, including pie charts, bar graphs, line graphs, and histograms. Educators and designers can maximize the potential of infographics as powerful educational tools by carefully addressing challenges and capitalizing on emerging technologies. However, current education systems showcase the need for development guidelines and the best practices targeted at designing and developing infographics while exploring the major economic and social impacts of infographics on education. This study examines the concept and role of infographics in education, methodologies, trends, and obstacles. It evaluates potential economic implications and gives insights to design and development experts. The study is based on a scoping literature review methodology, uncovering the conceptual background and the role of infographics. The study emphasizes the unique functions of infographics in data visualization for educational purposes and investigates the current trends and practices in infographics creation. The key challenges associated with the use of infographics are also discussed. Furthermore, the study attempts to identify the cutting-edge frameworks for infographic creation and development while evaluating their economic implications for the role of global education. Finally, the potential recommendations for creating successful infographics while focusing on professional design and development are also covered. Learners' learning experiences diverge and undergo rapid shifts due to trends in technology, and the transfer of knowledge in varying formats and styles is ubiquitous. Infographics find its application in instructional design and technology that drives education with state-of-the-art tools and applied methods. Being a format of data, Infographics or visual images presents information or knowledge using visuals. This study aims to present the student perceptions of learning via infographics at Princess Nourah bint Abdurrahman University (PNU) in Saudi Arabia. The study employs a survey questionnaire consisting of 13 close-ended questions posed to assess the learners' responses at PNU. Applied Likert's scale-based questions present a conversion of user data input to quantitative figures, which present the level of understanding and the role of infographics in education. The survey involved 45 undergraduate female students pursuing undergraduate degree courses at PNU. Using survey research design methodology, the study investigated learners' perceptions of infographics to add to their learning experiences and provides a quantitative analysis of observed responses to the survey questionnaire. The study conducts an online survey and classifies participants of different age groups into five categories for assessment. The study findings reveal that PNU learners perceive a positive role of infographics in their learning. However, learners showcase varied perceptions of a) the acceptance of assignments based on infographics and b) the use of static versus animated infographics. The study guides research scholars toward the intuition of infographics in learning environments and reports the two research problems to be addressed in future works.

e-Health data is sensitive and consenting to the collection, processing, and sharing involves compliance with legal requirements, ethical standards, and appropriate digital tools. We explore two legal-ethical challenges: 1) What are the scope and requirements of digital health data consent? 2) What are the legal-ethical reasons for obtaining consent beyond the GDPR’s legal basis, and how might such consent be obtained? We then propose human-centered solutions to help navigate standards of ethical and legal consent across the EU, purposefully addressing those use cases to compensate for human difficulties in managing consent without clear guidelines. These solutions – including ISO standards, ontologies, consent mechanisms, value-centered privacy assistants, and layered dynamic consent platforms – complement and aid humans to help uphold ethical and rigorous consent.
