Abstract:The present study focuses on the synthesis of copper‐based benzene dicarboxylic acid (Cu BDC) metal‐organic frameworks (MOF) and its application as a catalyst in the synthesis of 6H‐chromeno[4,3‐b] quinoline derivatives via Aza–Diels–Alder reactions. Aromatic amines and derivatives of O‐propargylated salicylaldehyde are employed in this synthetic strategy.
