Abstract:Accurate measurements of the coronal plasma density profile, which varies with the solar cycle (SC), are necessary to elucidate the solar wind acceleration. In this study, the Crab pulsar is observed using the 327 MHz radio telescope at the Toyokawa Observatory of the Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research of Nagoya University to investigate the coronal plasma density profile for radial distances between 5 and 60 solar radii at the SC24/25 minimum. We derive the dispersion measures (DMs) that represe… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
