Correction of dyslipidemia with combined use of beta-sitosterol and polyprenyl phosphates in dogs with type 1 diabetes mellitus

Abstract: This study considers the efficiency of use of a combined drug based on beta-sitosterol and polyprenyl phosphates in dogs with type I diabetes mellitus complicated by hyperlipidemia. It was shown that after 1 month of the therapy, there was a significant decrease of the level of cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose vs. control animals.
