Correlating criteria for liquid‐phase adsorption

Abstract

A correlating equation for selective adsorption in the liquid phase has been extended to predict accurately the benzene-cyclohexane equilibrium data on silica gel. Gel pore diameters range from approximately 25 to 150 A. and temperatures between the boiling and freezing points of the pure components.
