Abstract:Background: Apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) and nadir oxygen saturation (SpO2) are the indexes used to measure the severity of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Obesity, measured by body mass index (BMI), is one of the main contributing factors to the onset and severity of OSA in patients.
