Creep is the slow continuous change in the dimensions of the engineering piece during the service. The study of the creep is one of the very important things in order to avoid the disasters that occur as a result of changing the dimensions. Since we are studying creep and its effect on engineering parts in various fields in which polymer or composite materials are used, and among these areas is the use of polymers and composite materials in dams, then we must choose polymeric materials carefully so that these materials must have special properties in terms of strength and rigidity. In order to meet the required requirements in terms of properties, we chose high-density polyethylene because it has several properties, including its high degree of urgency as well as high inter molecular force, but this material alone does not meet all requirements because the polymer alone is not considered a successful material. High-density carbon fiber and we got a composite material with excellent properties that are much better than high-density polyethylene alone.

Background: The Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) has been linked to a variety of B-cell lymphomas, including Burkitt lymphoma (BL), classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL), and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), at rates ranging from 5 to 10% of DLBCL cases to >95% in endemic BL. Methods: The Present study conducted in AL-Najaf Holy City; it is a cross sectional study. All patients were recruited from Middle Euphrates Cancer Research Unit Laboratory, from pre-existing samples. Tissues collected from the previously mentioned laboratory were fixed in 10% formalin and placed in a cassette before being embedded in paraffine. The tissues were examined and diagnosed as with Hodgkin disease. Eighty samples were subjected in the present study. All study group was diagnosed formerly as paraffin imbedding blocks. Molecular analysis also used to detection of EBV-LMP-1 Gene. Histopathological examination using hematoxylin and eosine stain (H&E) then examining under light microscope to check for EBV-LMP-1 protein in twenty block samples of tissues with lymphoma. Results: The result of the current study revealed that EBV-LMP-1 marker found in 12.5% of cases that had been diagnosed by PCR and IHC.

Background: The metabolic syndrome including type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM), insulin resistance(IR), obese, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, is an increasing health burden. In the last decade, various metabolic hormones have been noticed to significantly role obese and associated complications. for example of this, the adipokines or hepatokines secreted proteins from hepatocyte and adipocyteare correlate with metabolic syndrome. Angiopoietin-like protein 8 (ANGPTL8) has a novel hepatokine or adipokine, which is mostly expressed in the adipose tissue, and liver stimulates the β-cell proliferation as a pancreatic in an insulin resistance state. It's a recently discovered the endocrine regulator associated with glucose homeostasis, IR, and metabolism of lipid. Materials and Methods: Ninety women participated in this study, comprising sixty patients with diabetes mellitus type-2 and thirty healthy (sex and age - matched) as a control group. Enzyme linked immune sorbent assay (ELISA) was used to assess ANGPTL8 and insulin. Standard procedures were used to measure fasting blood glucose, lipid profile, and glycated hemoglobin (HBA1c) in a certified laboratory. Results: Diabetes patients had higher levels of ANGPTL8 than the control group. The blood ANGPTL8 level in the Type-2 diabetes group varied from 4432.89±1171.09 pg/ml, while the control group's level was 2892.11±537.91pg/dl (p<0.0001).
