Abstract:In this study, the solid solubilities of four 1-hydroxy-9,10-anthraquinone derivatives (HAQs) in supercritical carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) have been correlated using a two solid-dependent parameter solution model developed from the regular solution model coupled with the Flory-Huggins equation. The correlated results show satisfactory agreement with the experimental data. In addition, with appropriate model simplification and generalization, a generalized solution model is proposed in this study to predict the solu… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
