Corticosteroids for Acute Orbital Cellulitis

Abstract: OBJECTIVES: Standard treatment of children hospitalized for acute orbital cellulitis includes systemic antibiotics. Recent data from single-center studies suggest the addition of systemic corticosteroids may hasten clinical improvement and reduce hospital length of stay (LOS).
