Corticosteroids in Dentistry

Abstract: Glucocorticosteroids are used extensively in dentistry for their anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects. Most of the diseases for which steroids are used are characterized by inflammation, which appears secondary to a hypersensitivity reaction against auto components.
