Abstract:The main aim of the article is to show, in the absence of the Axiom of Choice, relationships between the following, independent of ZF, statements: "Every countable product of compact metrizable spaces is separable (respectively, compact)" and "Every countable product of compact metrizable spaces is metrizable".
