Coupling-induced oscillations in two intrinsically quiescent populations

Abstract: A model of two consumer-resource systems linked by interspecific interference competition of consumers is considered. The basic assumption of the model is that the dynamics of the resource is much slower than that of the consumer. In the absence of interaction each consumer-resource pair has a unique stable steady state which is completely nonoscillatory. When weakly coupled, the consumer-resource pairs are shown to exhibit sustained low-frequency synchronous antiphase relaxation oscillations.Comment: 24 pages… Show more

“…An important fact. The use of artificial intelligence determines both new progressive opportunities in Arla Foods and new serious requirements for the human capital of this organization (professional competencies of personnel, their personal and business qualities) (Asaliev, et al, 2014;Cherepovitsyn et al, 2016;Poghosyan, 2018;Mustafin, 2015), especially in connection with the significant expansion of the geography of the company's activities.…”

“…The arguments of the global minimum are relatively less accurate, since the global minimum is determined by a parabolic surface [20][21][22]. In this algorithm, the main difficulty is the high-precision calculation of the indicator function (5). It is necessary to calculate the integral "in the best way".…”

“…This scientific study proposes a method for calculating the global minimum of a smooth function of many variables. The method consists of two stages: the first is to find the value of the global minimum point, and the second is to determine the coordinates of the global minimum [4,5]. A complex combination of sequences of actions within these two stages provides the desired result.…”

“…CRM is a business management tool, which has different functionalities and a positive impact on business results by supporting the entrepreneurial culture of tracking the chain of events along the customer's path. About 70% of all CRM implementation projects fail to achieve their expected goals [18,21]. In other words, a technical or engineering feature may be present in the activities of an entrepreneur or self-employed person, but this feature is poorly implemented.…”
