Craniocaudal Extension as an Indication of Surgical Outcome in Transsphenoidal Surgery for Pituitary Adenomas

Abstract: Transsphenoidal approach is considered the treatment of choice for pituitary adenoma removal. Suprasellar extension is regarded a drawback for complete removal of these tumors through this approach.
