Abstract:Creep and creep recovery behavior was investigated for a supramolecular polymeric system consisting of N,N',N"-tris(3,7-dimethyloctyl)benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamide and n-decane. In the linear viscoelastic regime, the system shows behavior well described with a Maxwell element having a set of a relaxation time (τ) and strength (G N ). The creep behavior of the system in the linear regime is simple; after showing the instantaneous value (J (0) ). In this regime, creep recovery (J R (t)) reaches a constant value a… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
