Abstract:Background: Healing of critical-size defects is a well-known problem that has been challenged in several studies. The aim of the experiment was to evaluate bone formation and osseointegration of implants installed in critical defects of the mandibular body simultaneously grafted with Bio-Oss® or Cerabone®.
