CRLB Analysis for Passive Sensor Network Localization Using Intelligent Reconfigurable Surface and Phase Modulation

Abstract: Passive wireless sensor network (PWSN) requires high positioning for network management. The harvested energy of the passive sensor is modulated as the ranging data and the position is derived accordingly. Thus, the wireless power transfer (WPT) is a dominant factor for such localization. With the help of intelligent reconfigurable surface (IRS), the WPT efficiency can be significantly improved. In this paper, we propose the Fisher information matrix (FIM) and the Cramér–Rao lower bound (CRLB) analyzing model … Show more

“…As shown in the table, we used 100 iterations for all algorithms. Furthermore, the boundary dimension of all algorithms ranged between [1,2,2] and [3,4,6], which indicates the range of [number o f mobileSink, number o f RV, number o f hops].…”

“…The first solution sol 1 contains two mobile sinks, namely, ms(1,1) and ms (1,2). The second solution sol 2 contains three mobile sinks, namely, ms(1), ms(2), and ms (3). Each mobile sink has its own number of rendezvous points.…”
