Abstract:Porous multipod Cu 2 O microcrystals were found to be an efficient, highly recyclable and eco-friendly catalyst for the cross-coupling reactions of aryl halides and terminal alkynes with high yields in aqueous media. Noteworthy, the Cu 2 O catalyst can be reused for several times without significant decrease in catalytic activity.
A convenient Pd- and phosphine-free protocol for assembling internal alkynes from tertiary propargyl alcohols and (het)aryl halides has been developed. The proposed tandem approach includes base-promoted retro-Favorskii fragmentation followed by...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
