Crossover from Relaxor to Ordinary Ferroelectric State in PMN-PZT System

Abstract: The system of solid solutions (1-x)PbMg 1/3 Nb 2/3 O 3 -xPbZr 0.53 Ti 0.47 O 3 (PMN-PZT) was investigated. On the base of the experimental study of dielectric spectroscopy, dielectric nonlinearity under external bias field up to 15 kV/cm, and differential thermal analysis the crossover from relaxor to ordinary ferroelectric state has been revealed. Criteria allowing to draw a distinction between relaxor and ordinary ferroelectric states are discussed.
