Abstract:Cryptogenic multifocal ulcerative sclerosing enteritis (CMUSE) is a rare clinical entity characterized by chronic, relapsing episodes of ileus and obstruction resulting from superficial ulcerating lesions of the small intestine with a clinical course that responds favorably to corticosteroids.
