Crystal Structures of the Compounds LnCuS₂ (Ln: Dy, Ho, Yb, Lu) and Tm_0.97Cu_1.10S₂.

Abstract

Structure D 2000Crystal Structures of the Compounds LnCuS 2 (Ln: Dy, Ho, Yb, Lu) and Tm0.97Cu1.10S2. -As revealed by powder XRD the title compounds crystallize in the space group P212121 with Z = 4. The S atoms of all the compounds are stacked in a close-packed arrangement with layers in the sequence AB. Half of the octahedral interstices are occupied by Ln (or Tm) atoms. -(GULAY*, L.
